Simon Kahan

President, Biocellion SPC

Since founding Biocellion SPC to commercialize Biocellion software, Simon has been responsible for marketing, sales and business development, rolling the Biocellion snowball forward to see what sticks. He also has thirty years experience in high-tech and high-performance computing at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Tera Computer, Cray, Google, and the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Simon received his M.S.E.E. from UC Berkeley, his Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Washington where he is Affiliate Faculty, and an M.A. in Organizational Development from Seattle University. He holds an Affiliate Faculty position at the Institute for Systems Biology, where the story of Biocellion began.


Ilya Shmulevich

Advisory Board, Science / The Institute for Systems Biology

In 2010, Ilya and his colleagues asked the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory to develop a way to test computational models of cancer cells at tissue scale. The response was to create Biocellion. The Shmulevich Lab at the Institute for Systems Biology uses Biocellion increasingly in their systems-based approach to studying cancer and intervention strategies.


Jonathan Copley

Advisory Board, Finance / CFOCare

Jonathan guides all aspects of corporate finance. He was the first partner at Andersen Business Consulting and has thirty-eight years of experience in business consulting and start-up incubation.


Yoav Sibony

Advisory Board, Sales / Translational Software

Yoav joined in early 2018 to accelerate development of sales strategy. He has twenty-four years of experience in global sales of life science software and technologies, including executive and management roles in which he has recruited, trained and deployed award winning sales teams.
